Amran A. Farah practices in insurance defense matters, including construction law, product liability, insurance coverage, no-fault UM/UIM, auto liability, professional liability, employment law and liquor liability. This includes all phases of litigation from pre-suit through trial and appeals. Amran has represented clients in disputes involving negligence, breach of contract and settlements involving minors.
Amran is also an Adjunct Professor of Civil Dispute Resolution at Mitchell Hamline School of Law.
Before joining Waldeck Law Firm, Amran was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Pamela G. Alexander at the Fourth Judicial District in Hennepin County.
Amran is admitted to practice in the state of Minnesota and before the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota. Amran is the President of the Somali American Bar Association and the Vice President of the Minnesota Association of Black Lawyers. Amran also serves on the Police Conduct Review Oversight Committee and the Governor’s Council of Minnesotans of African Heritage.
